I am happy to announce that the live-action portion of the film is now picture-locked. Sound design is now underway. We are also working on the animation, which is a time-consuming process. I will post some animation tests once they are completed!

We have just finished the recording of the Narrator voiceover with the very talented James Anderson. Animation is now officially underway! We are also proud to announce that the film's original score will be done by Atlantic Records recording artist Ryan Star. Everything is shaping up and we are looking at completing the film this fall so Three-Pronged Thomas can start its run on the festival circuit (pun intended...)! Thank you for your continued support and I look forward to having you all see the film when it is finished!

/// SYNOPSIS

A story about a melancholy children's book writer and the second grade teacher he dotes upon,“Three-Pronged Thomas” combines live action and animation to create a cautionary tale about love.

Thirty-five year old Thomas is a children's book author whose melancholy stories mimic his everyday life. But today is different. Today is Valentine's Day and Alexa, a second grade teacher and the love of Thomas' life, has invited him to read one of his books to her class. Thomas finally decides that this is the perfect opportunity for him to reveal his true feelings for Alexa.

Thomas writes "Three-Pronged Thomas," a rhyming children's story, especially for this occasion. His book tells of Thomas, a three-pronged plug, who falls in love with Alexa, a two-pronged electrical outlet. Although Three-Pronged Thomas never speaks of his feelings for Alexa because he fears that they will never be compatible, he finally musters up the courage to tell her that she has the spark he has been looking for in a woman.

But when circumstances change, will Thomas' story have a happy ending? Combining live action and hand-drawn animation, Three-Pronged Thomas is a film for anyone who has experienced the ups and downs of love.
